2. 영어문장 소리 내서 3번 읽기

뜻을 모르더라도 읽을 수 있다면 일단 3번 읽어보세요. 절대 중간에 끊지 말고 처음부터 끝까지 읽어보세요.

 

Luke 8:11-15

11 Now the parable is this: The seed is the word of God. 12 The ones along the path are those who have heard; then the devil comes and takes away the word from their hearts, so that they may not believe and be saved. 13 And the ones on the rock are those who, when they hear the word, receive it with joy. But these have no root; they believe for a while, and in time of testing fall away. 14 And as for what fell among the thorns, they are those who hear, but as they go on their way they are choked by the cares and riches and pleasures of life, and their fruit does not mature. 15 As for that in the good soil, they are those who, hearing the word, hold it fast in an honest and good heart, and bear fruit with patience. 

 

3. 어휘 암기하기

어휘를 암기하는 것은 어휘를 저축하는 것과 같습니다. 암기한 어휘를 문장에 적용시키면 오래도록 기억할 수 있습니다. 이렇게 저축한 어휘는 어느 순간 폭발적으로 효과를 나타냅니다.

4. 직독직해 

영어문장 끊어 읽기를 연습합니다. 영어문장과 끊어서 해석한 우리말을 읽으면서 직독직해를 연습하세요.

① Now the parable is this: The seed is the word of God. 

• Now the parable is this 이 비유는 이것이다
• The seed is the word of God 씨앗은 하나님의 말씀이다

→ 이 비유는 이러하니라 씨는 하나님의 말씀이요

 

 

② The ones along the path are those who have heard; then the devil comes and takes away the word from their hearts, so that they may not believe and be saved. 

• The ones along the path are those who have heard 길을 따라 있는 씨앗들은 (말씀을) 들은 사람들이다
• then the devil comes 악마가 와서
• and takes away the word for their hearts 그들의 마음에서 말씀을 가져가 버렸다
• so that they may not believe and be saved 그들이 믿고 구원을 받지 못하게 하려고

→ 길 가에 있다는 것은 말씀을 들은 자니 이에 마귀가 가서 그들이 믿어 구원을 얻지 못하게 하려고 말씀을 그 마음에서 빼앗는 것이요

 

③ And the ones on the rock are those who, when they hear the word, receive it with joy. But these have no root; they believe for a while, and in time of testing fall away.

• And the ones on the rock are those who 돌 위에 있는 것들은 
• when they hear the word 그들이 말씀을 들을 때
• receive it with joy 그것을 기쁨으로 받는 사람들이다
• But these have no root 그러나 이 사람들은 뿌리가 없어서
• believe for a while 잠시 믿다가
• and in time of testing fall away 시험을 당하면 넘어진다

→ 바위 우에 있다는 것은 말씀을 들을 때에 기쁨으로 받으나 뿌리가 없어 잠깐 믿다가 시련을 당할 때에 배반하는 자요

 

④ And as for what fell among the thorns, they are those who hear, but as they go on their way they are choked by the cares and riches and pleasures of life, and their fruit does not mature. 

• And as for what fell among the thorns 가시에 떨어졌다는 것은
• they are those who hear 말씀은 들은 사람들이다
• but as they go on their way 그러나 그들이 살아갈 때
• they are choked by the cares and riches and pleasures of life 염려와 재산과 인생의 기쁨 때문에 막혀 버려서
• and their fruit does not mature 그들의 열매가 익지 못한다

→ 가시떨기에 떨어졌다는 것은 말씀을 들은 자이나 지내는 중 이생의 염려와 재물과 향략에 기운이 막혀 온전히 결실하지 못하는 자요

 

⑤ As for that in the good soil, they are those who, hearing the word, hold it fast in an honest and good heart, and bear fruit with patience.

• As for that in the good soil 좋은 땅에 있다는 것은
• they are those who 이런 사람들이
• hearing the word 말씀을 듣고
• hold it fast in an honest and good heart 정직하고 선한 마음으로 말씀을 꽉 붙잡아서
• and bear fuit with patience 인내로 열매를 맺는다

→ 좋은 땅에 있다는 것은 착하고 좋은 마음으로 말씀을 듣고 지키어 인내로 결실하는 자니라

 

5. 전체 문장 끊어 읽기

앞에 끊어서 읽으면서 해석한 것을 기억하며 읽어보세요. 영어문장을 읽을 때 끊어진 부분에서 아주 잠깐 쉰다고 생각하면서 읽으면 끊어진 단위대로 해석할 수 있게 됩니다.

6. 전체 문장 다시 읽기

끊어 읽기를 하나하나 생각하는 것이 아니라 전체 내용을 머릿속에 그림을 그리며 읽어보세요. 3-5번 멈추지 않고 읽어볼 것을 권합니다.

7. 자신의 음성으로 녹음하기

영어문장을 읽는 것이 익숙해졌다면 자신의 목소리로 녹음을 한 다음 들으면서 어색한 부분을 점검해 보세요. 이 과정을 통해서 좀 더 자신 있게 영어로 말하는 연습을 할 수 있습니다. 앞에 원어민이 읽어주는 파일과 비교하면서 연습해 보세요.

 

8. 전체문장 반복해서 읽기

자신의 목소리로 녹음해서 원어민 발음과 비교해서 교정을 했다면 이제 마지막으로 무한반복 읽기에 도전하기 바랍니다. 암기한 어휘나 끊어 읽기를 적용하는 것이 아니라 영어문장 자체를 계속 읽으면서 입에서 자연스럽게 나올 수 있게 반복해 보세요.
