뜻을 모르더라도 읽을 수 있다면 일단 3번 읽어보세요. 절대 중간에 끊지 말고 처음부터 끝까지 읽어보세요.

 

Matthew 13:19-23

19 When anyone hears the word of the kingdom and does not understand it, the evil one comes and snatches away what has been sown in his heart. This is what was sown along the path. 20 As for what was sown on rocky ground, this is the one who hears the word and immediately receives it with joy, 21 yet he has no root in himself, but endures for a while, and when tribulation or persecution arises on account of the word, immediately he falls away. 22 As for what was sown among thorns, this is the one who hears the word, but the cares of the world and the deceitfulness of riches choke the word, and it proves unfruitful. 23 As for what was sown on good soil, this is the one who hears the word and understands it. He indeed bears fruit and yields, in one case a hundredfold, in another sixty, and in another thirty.

 

3. 어휘 암기하기

어휘를 암기하는 것은 어휘를 저축하는 것과 같습니다. 암기한 어휘를 문장에 적용시키면 오래도록 기억할 수 있습니다. 이렇게 저축한 어휘는 어느 순간 폭발적으로 효과를 나타냅니다.

영어문장 끊어 읽기를 연습합니다. 영어문장과 끊어서 해석한 우리말을 읽으면서 직독직해를 연습하세요.

① When anyone hears the word of the kingdom and does not understand it, the evil one comes and snatches away what has been sown in his heart. This is what was sown along the path. 

• When anyone hears the word of the kingdom 사람이 천국의 말씀을 듣고
• and does not understand it 그것을 깨닫지 못할 때
• the evil one comes 악한 자가 와서

② As for what was sown on rocky ground, this is the one who hears the word and immediately receives it with joy,

• this is the one who hears the word 이것은 말씀을 듣고
• and immediately receives it with joy 즉시 기쁨으로 말씀을 받는 사람이다

→ 돌밭에 뿌려졌다는 것은 말씀을 듣고 즉시 기쁨으로 받되

 

③ yet he has no root in himself, but endures for a while, and when tribulation or persecution arises on account of the word, immediately he falls away. 

• yet he has no root in himself 그 안에 뿌리가 없어서
• but endures for a while 잠시 동안 견디다가 
• and when tribulation or persecution arises 시련과 박해가 일어날 때
• account of the word 말씀 때문에
• immediately he falls away 그는 즉시 넘어진다

→ 그 속에 뿌리가 없어 잠시 견디다가 말씀으로 말미암아 환난이나 박해가 일어날 때에는 곧 넘어지는 자요

 

④ As for what was sown among thorns, this is the one who hears the word, but the cares of the world and the deceitfulness of riches choke the word, and it proves unfruitful. 

• As for what was sown among thorns 가시 사이에 떨어진 것에 대해서는
• this is the one who hears the word 말씀을 듣는 사람이다
• but the cares of the world 그러나 세상의 염려와
• and the deceitfulness of riches 재산에 대한 탐욕이 
• choke the word 말씀을 말려 버린다
• and it proves unfruitful 그것이 열매를 맺지 못하게 된다

→ 가시떨기에 뿌려졌다는 것은 말씀을 들으나 세상의 염려와 재물의 유혹에 말씀이 막혀 결실하지 못하는 자요

 

⑤ As for what was sown on good soil, this is the one who hears the word and understands it. He indeed bears fruit and yields, in one case a hundredfold, in another sixty, and in another thirty.

• As for what was sown on good soil 좋은 땅에 뿌려졌다는 것에 대해서는
• this is the one who hears the word 말씀을 듣고
• and understands it 그것을 이해하는 사람이다
• He indeed bears fruit and yields 그는 정말로 열매를 맺고 수확한다
• in one case a hundredfold 어떤 경우에는 백 배
• in another sixty 다른 경우에는 60배
• and in another thirty 다른 경우에는 30배

→ 좋은 땅에 뿌려졌다는 것은 말씀을 듣고 깨닫는 자니 결실하여 어떤 것은 백 배, 어떤 것은 육십 배, 어떤 것은 삽십 배가 되느니라 하시더라

 

5. 전체 문장 끊어 읽기

앞에 끊어서 읽으면서 해석한 것을 기억하며 읽어보세요. 영어문장을 읽을 때 끊어진 부분에서 아주 잠깐 쉰다고 생각하면서 읽으면 끊어진 단위대로 해석할 수 있게 됩니다.

끊어 읽기를 하나하나 생각하는 것이 아니라 전체 내용을 머릿속에 그림을 그리며 읽어보세요. 3-5번 멈추지 않고 읽어볼 것을 권합니다.

8. 전체문장 반복해서 읽기

자신의 목소리로 녹음해서 원어민 발음과 비교해서 교정을 했다면 이제 마지막으로 무한반복 읽기에 도전하기 바랍니다. 암기한 어휘나 끊어 읽기를 적용하는 것이 아니라 영어문장 자체를 계속 읽으면서 입에서 자연스럽게 나올 수 있게 반복해 보세요.
